Job Title: Project Assistant (Part-Time)

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our electrical construction and service operations. This role is critical to keeping projects organized, inspections scheduled, clients informed, and daily office operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional on the phone, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once.

Key Responsibilities
This role includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
Project & Service Job Coordination
• Manage electrical projects and service jobs from start to completion
• Track job status, timelines, and required next steps
• Pull electrical permits and maintain permit documentation
• Call and schedule inspections with local jurisdictions
• Create and maintain inspection checklists for each project
• Ensure projects are inspection-ready and properly documented
Client Communication & Follow-Up
• Answer incoming phone calls and route messages appropriately
• Follow up with clients regarding project updates, inspections, and scheduling
• Maintain professional, responsive communication with customers
• Update client portals and internal systems with accurate job information
Administrative & Office Support
• Maintain organized digital and physical job files
• Update project tracking tools and internal records
• Coordinate with electricians, inspectors, and vendors
• Support the owner with administrative tasks related to operations and scheduling

Qualifications
• Prior experience in construction, electrical, trades, or project coordination preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent phone etiquette and written communication skills
• Comfortable working with permits, inspections, and deadlines
• Proficient with basic office technology (email, spreadsheets, project portals)
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
• High attention to detail and follow-through
• Must have reliable transportation

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
• Experience working with electrical contractors or service businesses
• Familiarity with local permitting and inspection processes
• Customer service or office administration background
• Experience with job management or CRM software

Work Schedule
• Part-time (hours to be determined based on workload)
• In-Person mandatory office hours may be required
